One of the wonderful things about this time of year, whether you celebrate Christmas, Hannukah, Kwanzaa or simply hope for world peace, is that it can bring out the best in people. We tend to take that extra minute to do something nice for a neighbor, or we donate time or money to those in need.
The holidays give us the chance to be the best versions of ourselves, to show what is truly in our hearts. It’s not about money; it’s not about the number of packages under the tree. This time of year, it’s about gratitude – and about making a difference in the lives of others through gestures of kindness.
